Propane to Power Solution
This is a 30,000 cubic meter storage facility made up of Six (6) spheres. The project, which is being executed in 2 phases.
Phase one is made up of 3 spheres totaling 13,600 cubic meters, a12inch propane rated pipeline from the Tema jetty to the Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), vapour recovery system, fire water system, pumps and pipeline to the power plant, costing USD 86million
Phase two will see the addition of 3 spheres, adding a capacity of 18,000 cubic meters to the total storage capacity.
It will primarily store propane to power the 400MW Power Plant under construction in Ghana of which the Group is a co-developer and sponsor together with US based firms GE & Endeavor.
